A first look at the menu

A first look at the menu

A menu is the clearest statement a kitchen can make about itself, and ours has been some time in the making. Now that we are open, we wanted to walk you through it.

The range is arranged into four collections, each drawing on a different part of the larder.

From the Garden is our vegetarian selection, and it is far more than a courtesy to those who do not eat meat. These are canapés built around the vegetable itself, seasonal, bright and full of character.

From the Sea gathers our seafood canapés, from smoked salmon blinis to more unexpected pairings. Fish rewards a light hand and careful timing, and this is where much of that care shows.

From the Land holds the meat canapés, the richer and more savoury end of the range. Our duck parfait baguette sits here, alongside dishes meant to satisfy rather than merely decorate.

Something Sweet closes the menu with dessert canapés, the small final note that guests tend to remember. Our pistachio macaron is an early favourite.

A few principles run through all four. Everything is finished by hand in our Clerkenwell kitchen, and everything is sold in sets of twenty, so that quantities are easy to plan. We list the fourteen declarable allergens clearly on every product, because knowing exactly what you are serving should never be a matter of guesswork.

The menu is not fixed. As the seasons turn, so will the range, and we will note any additions here as they arrive. Whilst we are proud of where the menu stands today, we see it as the beginning of something that will keep growing.

If you are planning an event and are unsure what to choose, we are always happy to help you build a selection. Do have a look through, and see what tempts you.
